really nice, carved lidded box, mabye olive wood, but thats just my guess.it measures just short of inches in length,x4.5 inches wide,x2 3/4 inches deep. it has this sliding front panel, and when slid along to the left, reveals the hidden key, which opens the lock. so you can hide whatever stash you want, lock your box and hide the key, back behind the sliding panel.the box has good set of hinges, and the lock and key are working fine. there is few cosmetic marks, but mainly on the ends.thanks for looking and good luck if bidding.
