This is 1959 reproduction of Duncan Phyfe mahogany drum table. It includes elements from 18th century England's "rent" tables and combines them with the swivel base to create this table which was likely used for games. Unfortunately we don't have the pedestal base for it. It measures 28" in diameter and 11" tall and weighs 29 lbs. 
It has not been restored and has its original finish. Because of this, there is some variance in color where the finish has faded or scuffed off. The wood is in excellent condition with no splitting or chipping or major scratches. It has partial leather top and lion pull hardware adorning the sides. The pulls don't actually open anything but are there for decoration. There are hollow sections that go all the way through the table (to store cards and chips).
