very pretty Chinese export armorial plate in the French style. Beautifully decorated with an unusual coat of arms to the center and swags of flowers.
Glaze has an odd green tinge to it not the usual blue/grey tint. But definitely Chinese not Sampson.
Numerous chips to edge showing mostly on the backside, see pics. Rim has lots of nibbles and there is reglued part as seen in the photo...my orange line shows the perimeter. Some wear and scratches.
Measures approx. 9" diameter
