charming Art Deco Playing Card Game Box c. 1920 Featuring West Highland Terriers or Scottie Dogs. It is completely original and has had no repairs or alterations. In wonderful usable antique condition. Featuring beautiful inlay pattern to all surfaces other than the base and wonderful pair of Scottie dogs to the uppermost surface.    One black, one white. Charming. The sweet little cherry red Bakelite handles are still in place on both of the card drawers.  Pulling them reveals the Two decks of cards (new, complete and unplayed)  Note the lovely shaped cut out to facilitate easy placement and removal of the decks. I am not sure of the main timber type. suspect that it may be silly elm. Regardless? It has lovely silky irredescent grain and the entire piece features it beautifully preserved original finish.  Now with lovely glowing soft patina. I've lots more treasures listed and to come, be sure to take peek. If you have questions or would like additional pics, please let me know.
