Up for auction is one antique bronze plaque. On the plaque is written as follows,

"Intended as "joke" item these pressed brass plaques
have now become an integral put of taxidermy history.Stating Lacopus Scoticus (Red Grouse) was stuffed by Ivor Poake Ltd for the Great Exhibition 1851 kind of gives the game away.

While their origin cannot be confirmed, am reliablly informed the taxidermists past from Rowland Ward's may have been able to shed some light on the matter."
