 Up for your consideration is this WONDERFUL, antique Chinese opium box! It is made from coin silver and enamel. The surface is hand painted with scenic view of mountains, trees, buildings, and lake. This piece measures just under 3/8" tall, by 3/8" wide and 5/8" deep. It is in overall very good antique condition. There are old enamel repairs as seen near the bottom of the piece in the 2nd photograph, and spots along the edge visible in the 4th photograph. Both the front and the back of this piece where the scenes are painted are in excellent condition, with only the most minor of wear from age and use. This is an antique piece circa the 18th century.
