DESCRIPTION:This woven waist band was collected in the Admiralty Islands in the late 70s  Its very interesting as it combines both native bush fibres and yellow synthetic style material something that would have been sourced from some packaging material or similar.  find it particularly interesting when traditional objects adapt to incorporate found materials like this
