Up for bid is vintage, wooden with metal trim,  BROWN STEAMER TRUNK.THIS TRUNK COULD BE USED AS STORAGE TRUNK OR COULD BE CONVERTED INTO NICE COFFEE TABLE.
Would make great addition to any home with little restoration. The trunk measures approx 26" wide 15" deep 17” tall. There is surface wear from being used as train luggage that makes for nice patina.  The leather handles are missing.  Piece has heavy metal and brass accents. The front lock is not present. Ornate clasps work great. The inside is lined with old paper.  It does have musty smell inside from probably being stored in basement.  Would have to be aired out, cleaned, etc as you see fit.  will leave that for you, as everyone has their own way they like to restore (or not restore) old pieces like this.Reinforced with metal on the bottom. Piece is strong and can still be used as trunk. Sold as is, please see photos.What wonderful addition to your collection or decor!!!
