vintage German Canterbury 8-day full quarter Westminster chiming clock.original.  c1950s   wood case.dial is very good.  no damage. just old for the age.  the front original convex glass is good. good quality brass day Westminster  chime movement is complete and good condition. no damage.  the trademark with Canterbury and MADE IN GERMANY is marked on the movement back plate. clock in excellent working condition.working is very well and running smoothly and keeps time. all chime is in good working order.  chiming every 15 minutes and count hours.the chiming work is entirely self correcting. and if disarranged will automatically correct itself within hours.  and the chime can set on silent. the clock running without chiming.there is small lever situated on dial on number to set the silence and chime.  5 chime rods.   nice sound.beautiful and strong case. no damage. no chips.  little minor mark on surface for the age. the original paper on back door. tall 23cm.  wide 46cm.   deep 16cm .comes with the brass pendulum.  and the winding key is included.   - - - clock keeps working very well -the beautiful and very good running German clock.prefered payment is direct bank deposit.pick up welcome and must pay in cash or bank deposit.  double box package.  post  by registered mail in Australia  NSW  ACT $32.   VIC $45.   QLD $50.  SA $55.  WA  TAS  NT $78.may need extra postage for some postcode.the fixed charge  included postage & handling and packing and eBay charge 10 final value fee on shipping.   to ensure item safe to buyer. only post item with registered.international bidder please e-mail for shipping cost before bidding.
