VINTAGE GEORGE NELSON HOWARD MILLER MIDCENTURY MODERN BALL CLOCK ATOMIC RETRO
Technical specifications, photos and description:
: | “This clock has light wear. It is being sold as found and it is not currently ready to use; it is a project piece that needs to be refurbished by a professional. There are a few minor scuffs to the balls. Looking at this clock, it seems to have originally been a wind-up model that was converted to electric by a previous owner. The hands are different from what you normally see on this model, and they seem to have been replaced. There is no backing. The clock motor stands out slightly beyond the back of the case. The clock should be converted back to a wind-up or the motor should be replaced. I do not know if the existing clock motor works or not. There is a neat hole on the face which is the original wind-up key hole, as made. There is another hole to the bottom edge which is a bit rough; this was likely drilled when it was converted to electric. Please review the photos, and ask any questions you may have prior to bidding or buying.” |
