On offer is this vintage silver plate sugar scuttle/salt pig with hinged lid.Chased/engraved with foliage and flowers to the lid and body, with central unmonogrammed oval cartouche on top.  Has handle on rear and top.
Stamped 'Made in England [ship] Dreadnought'.In fair condition. The interior of the scuttle shows pitting/blistering consistent with salt being kept in here over time. Exterior shows wear to the silver plate (showing as black in the photos) and surface scratches/dings.  Please consider photos.Dimensions: 16.5cm 8.2cm 14cm.
