Details: The dresser appears to be an amateur woodworker reproduction of an antique piece, and has very stately presence thanks to its impressive size, long shapely legs, arched top, and rich carvings with ball and claw feet, acanthus and shell accents, and urn and flame finials. The piece is very sturdily constructed from solid mahogany, with 11 dovetailed drawers (5 large, small). Beautiful rich and warm mahogany wood grain.
Condition: Fair vintage condition. The piece has various minor signs of wear, including some light scratches and dings, as well as wear to the finish in spots. There are also splits in either side, repair to the central portion of the arch, and missing brass covering to one of the keyholes. do not have the key to this piece. Overall, the piece is structurally sound, and very impressive looking.
