This vintage and antique Formosan Treasure Coffin is approx. 12" long, 1/4" wide and 1/4" tall. It is beautifully carved box, and the construction technique and craftsmanship look solid. It has locking top with key. The info. tag indicates it was originally used in the families of Formosan aboriginal chieftains and the rich for keeping their inherited jewels, necklaces and other valuables. very nice older relic.
