This elegant,Victorian,rosewood veneer sewing/jewellery box,has pewter stringing and mother of pearl dots to the lid and front.There is mother of pearl cartouche and escutcheon.A working lock and key are fitted.Green baize underside.Age related small dents and scratches.Veneer repairs to left and right sides,and shrinkage crack along the back(no detriment).Inside,the interior is lined with red lining paper.Size is 12" 8.5" 4.75" (30.5cm 21.5cm 12cm).A nice box ready to store sewing items,jewellery or trinkets.Will be well packed and sent signed for.I do not post to Italy,Asia or Australia.Please see my other boxes.
