Very Small Very Early Chinese Sancai Glaze Pot
Technical specifications, photos and description:
Seller notes: | “Very Small & thought to be a Very Early Chinese Sancai Glaze Pot, thought to be Tang Dynasty, though not definite. It's about 9 cm's tall, 9 cm's diameter, with a bulbous shape with a horizontal ridged texture, an incised line around the shoulder, and a small lipped neck. The base is unglazed and mildly indented. The pot is colored in a green and yellow thin glazed finish, with small areas without glazing, as well as a number of very small unglazed scabs, probably to do with firing, as is the fine corkscrew splits in the base. The condition is otherwise perfect and hopefully the photo's show this.” |
