UNUSUAL ANTIQUE CARVED WOOD WALLPANELUp for auction is this old,  gorgeous, rare and unusual carved wood wall panel. am not anexpert on this type of carving, but the figure looks possibly tribal from Africa? The panels depict male figure with beard. He is wearing what seems to be tribal cloth with different shapes and texture. On the top half of the panel is what could possible be foliage or plants.  The man in this carving has wonderful grin on his face. This impressive carving could possible have come from church, and for sure carved by master wood workerof the time. This panel is carved from singlepiece of wood. The approx age is possible 19th C. or older.
