 Offering sterling silver lady and cherub trinket box made by William Kerr circa 1900.The figural box is 2" high and 2" across.  Cut glass jar with deep miter cuts and zipper edges.  The lid is exquisite with deep repousse design of an art nouveau semi-nude lady and cherub playing flute.  Weighs 16 grams.  Marked STERLING 2000 and PAT'D.  A monogram in the center, SA in ribbon design.  Very nice antique condition with some issues.  Several shallow dents in the curve of the lid and one small chip on the outer rim of the jar.  Also 1/4" by 1/8" surface chip along one zippered edge.No maker's mark, but the design is attributed to William Kerr.A lovely, sweet collector's piece.
