They have a beautiful caning backrest. They are nicely routed details along the edges of the wooden members of the chairs. They are sturdy, just cosmetic from the typical wear and tear that you find in chairs this old. They are from between the 1950's 60's. The caning is in tacked, just the finish on them is worn on all the chairs. Otherwise they are in good shape. The fabric on the side chairs have some dark brown spots.
