very attractive vintage Chinese box with beautifully detailed carvings of oriental scenes.

The lod fits tightly and closes more easily when you pish the fron slightly. There is chain to hold the lid open however when the box is empty the weight of te lid when open makes the box fall backwards. There is some splitting and damage to the wood as well as some sun bleaching. Please examine the photos before bidding. It measures 5.5" tall 7" wide and even. 5" deep.
