This interesting shell came from large collection that the majority originated from the Kimberley's of Western Australia. This shell has been shaped and the lower section has an engraved design infilled with ochre. The design shares similarities to the female body paint from this area but am unsure of it's meaning but assume it relates to the various rain ceremonies these shells were used in. The shell has warm colour and measures 17cm 12.5cm. Registered Post within Australia will cost $8AU. Airmail to the US will be $14AU and Europe will cost $18AU
