The tantalus is locking liquor box designed to keep unauthorized persons from drinking the contents
This example has beautiful oak with brass? metal, three decanters and two storage areas for keeping items
Measures 14 1/2" wide 13 3/4" tall and 11 1/4" deep.  Decanters are about 9" tall with stoppers in place. 
Condition the wood is in excellent condition for the age of this item.  Some of the brass hardware has been moved throughout the years.  One of the glass decanters is broken on the lid. The other two are in good shape except one has small chip on the top.  The one could be replaced
