This vintage cutlery box is made of solid oak. The exterior has suffered scratches, marks; there is deep score line on the back edge of the lid. The planks comprising the top of the lid have shrunk slightly creating slight gap visible in the pictures. There is an inlaid brass cartouche in the centre of the lid. The interior of the box is fitted to accomodate approx. thirty four pieces of cutlery. The interior is lined with tan coloured fabric that has become very fluffy. There is working lock with two keys. The box measures approx. 378mm 250mm 88mm. No maker's mark.Please examine the pictures carefully as they constitute part of the listing description.
