Carved wooden mask from the Dan complex of Tribes Liberia,  West Africa.  Wonderful older example with wide open eyes, some linear designs accented with white paint pigment and the nail driven into the forhead to ritually "charge" the mask.  On heavy duty metal display stand included with purchase.  The mask itself measures 11 inches.
