Dutch Sterling Silver Ladle
Twisted to perfectionThe twist in the stem is aligned; 3.0mm per twist (14 twists),when you consider this was hand made it's somewhat of feat
The ladle is designed to sit on table without falling,This is show in pictures One & Six (it can been done both ways)I imagine this was done for the purposes of hygiene, (to prevent the bowl of the spoon from touching the table)
It has been hallmarked with date letter 't' indicating it was made in 1903,The Dutch passant lion informs us the piece was made with 83.3% silverIt measures 16cm long (or inches) and weighs 57 grams
