On offer is this antique 'Asiatic Pheasants' patterned dinner plate.Marked with the Burgess & Leigh (later more commonly referred to as Burleigh) backstamp on the rear.  Most likely manufactured in the 1890s/early 1900s, as it carries the Middleport Pottery mark which was opened in 1889.Measures 24.2cm in diameter.In good condition for age.  No chips or cracks but glaze does show age related crazing and some utensil marks from prior use. Please consider photos.Good addition/replacement in any 'Asiatic Pheasants' service or indeed perfect for the collector of antique blue & white tableware.
