The vinaigrette is of engine turnedstyle decoration with central cartouche and vermeil interior. 1/4 by 7/8 inches. Closes snugly. There seems to have been monogram which has been mostly erased, as can be seen in the photos. have taken them with side-lighting to show the detail; was actually not certain about prior monogram until taking the photos because the surface changes are not as noticeable with normal lighting.
