This is lovely original antique Victorian tunbridge marquetry wood and mother of pearl inlay box. am not sure if it is jewellery, trinket or sewing box but it can be used as any of these. It measures 11 inches or 28cm in legnth, inches or 28cm in width and 1/4 inches or 13.5cm in height. It has been re-lined with pink velvet fabric at some point. It has some very small areas of missing inlay and scuffs around the corners and sides due to age and use. Other than that, it is in very good condition for its age.
