This style of Antique Chippendale Drop Front Secretary Desk's are extremely sought after by collectors At this price, it wont last long.
Desk features stunning bold serpentine front with stacked spacious drawers with lot of room for storage. Each drawer is embellished with aged brass Chippendale style bat wing drawer pulls with matching key holes. (top drawer key hole plate is missing as well as damaged one on the drop front face
The bottom of the piece has ball and claw feet These are quite the conversation starter!
Within the drop front, you have storage at its best with ton of space for open faced storage, small accessory drawers and middle storage door with the double column pull out "secret compartments". All drawers and doors within the drop front have porcelain knobs that could be changed to whatever you desire.As this is an antique piece, it does have expected wear. Wear includes scratches, blems and split wood on the right side front of the drop front. Looks like there was repair attempt at some point in time. Please see photos for complete condition
