Antique c. 1900 cabinet or drawer lock with decorative cast iron key.  Made to be mounted vertically on cabinet or horizontally on drawer.  Good condition with smooth operation, with some minor surface rust. 
The lock measures 11/16" by 3/8" and the selvedge measures 5/8" by 7/16".
