                                          This antique bronze container was used to hold Khol eye make up.
                                           Khol was used to blacken the outlines of the eyes with bronze stick.
                                          Traditionally the tribal people of Afghanistan both women and men
                                          would apply it to prevent eye infections.
                                          I`m not sure if it`s name is Surmadani or Samodani

                                          It is made of bronze in the lost wax casting technique and therefore
                                          one of kind.
                                          Two of the original four bells are still intact.
                                          It`s age is at least 1800 Century probably lot older.
