Offered to purchase are these PAIR OF SIGNED YUGOSLAVIAN, HANS WEGNER STYLE, HANDLED, MID CENTURY MODERN DANISH ROPE FOLDING LOUNGE CHAIRS. These chairs were obtained from an estate, and are in vintage condition with wear. One chair is in better condition than the other. Both chairs could use some tightening of the rope and cleaning. The chair that needs the most work shows some wood dis-coloration with the front corners of the handle area appear to have been damaged along with repair needed to the bottom brace. The lower brace needs to be glued and is shown in the pictures where have left it in its' condition. Some areas show small splitting of wood and the chair which needs the lower brace repair, also shows an area (where chair is marked) needs repair where slide peg fits. The other chairs' frame is also worn but bottom brace appears to be in tact, handle area also shows wear and is in need of good cleaning and rope tightening. These chairs are collectible, although they do need some TLC, would assume once restored, these chairs could look absolutely beautiful. Measurements are approximate, Bottom seat 23" by 18 1/2", top back rest 21" by 20", height floor to top of bottom seat 17 3/4", floor to top of back rest 30 1/2".
