 Myhouse is filled to overflowingTreasurehunting I'm much enjoyingUnfortunately,I am sad to say Thatif my darling husband has HIS wayOutthe door it will ALL be going...Up for your consideration is this beautiful Victorian art glassbride's bowl (circa 1880-1900's) in triple silver plate stand. believethe maker is likely Mount Washington although some of the fine Englishfactories are also possibilities. The bowl is arichly shaded pink, cased in white and it features a crimped "ribboncandy" amber edge. The bowl alone measures high, 10"across at the top and 4" at the base. The bottom has groundand polished pontil. The bowl fits nicely in the Rogers & Bro triplesilver plated frame. The frame ranges from 1/2" at its lowest point upto  4"  H and 10 1/2" across at the widest point,with twisted double rectangular handles, one on each side. The metal basefeatures embossed leaves, vines and buds beginning to bloom, with four sturdylegs. One foot is marked "Rogers & Bro Tripleplate" and anotherfoot has "5575" etched on it. Both the bowl and the frame are in verygood estate condition with no damage or restoration found. Heavy patina onthe base. This lovely bride's basket is sure to be welcome in any seriouscollection. **Vintage glass may showcharacteristics of age, including allowable base wear, bubbles, patternirregularities, straw marks (inclusions/cooling marks) or mold marks.
