Current customer rating: (3) based on 112 votes
Up for auction is lovely vintage hand painted Royal Vienna Pot De Crème with flower finial and an intertwined and twisted handle. It is 7" tall to the top of the finial and the rim diameter is 4". It has pretty hand painted polychrome enamel Dresden style roses and flowers with gold accents against white background. It has the blue under glaze Bindenshild Shield mark used by The Imperial and Royal Porcelain Manufactory along with the written number 36 on the bottom of the pot and the impressed numbers 36 and 813 on the inside of the base foot along with the incised letter "S" on the bottom of the pot. The impressed mark of 36 identifies the molder and turner and the 813 identifies the year (1813) from 1784 to 1864. The condition is good with the exception of chip on the base of the pot (see last photo), and there is a small bit of the clear glaze missing from the lid just beneath the finial (see photos). Most of the yellow petals are missing from the finial, but the green leaves and stems are intact. am also listing matching Pot De Crème with green band versus the orange band. Insurance is included in the shipping fee. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking.
