Technical specifications, photos and description:

:“Beautiful, antique, chestnut dresser salvaged from Southwestern Pennsylvania. The piece is made of solid chestnut, which is a rare and valuable wood. The dresser has 2 glove or handkerchief drawers on top, with a rectangular piece of off-white-colored marble in between them, and 3 drawers below. Notice the 2 vertical recessed panels on the left and right sides of the dresser, and the lovely hand-carved, "Spoon," carvings on the face of each drawer--what great details! All of the drawers are also equipped with their original hardware. Also notice the old-fashioned, hand-made dovetails, which connect the 4 sides of each drawer. Overall, the dresser is in great condition. The glove box on the right has a crack on top, which is only superficial and not structurally threatening. The marble is clean and free of breaks, cracks, or chips. This piece was made before, "planned obscelecence," was the norm, and was built to last a lifetime!”
