Beautiful antique, marquetry parlor/side table.  The table is mahogany and features a striking, burled mahogany, parquetry veneer top.  There is also an inlaid, scroll design.  The table features ornate carvings on the apron as well as on the legs.  The stretcher support is also interesting and is finished with carved "twist" flower bud finial.  The table is in very good condition with some evidence of age/use to the veneer top.  There are few chips in the veneer and it appears that they have been covered up with some stain.  This is not terribly distracting and can be resolved if you so choose.  As it is, the table is quite beautiful with an aged character.  It is very sturdy and structurally sound.  Very nice table.The table measures 29.5" tall.  It is 26.25" in diameter at the top and 29" in diameter at the curved sections of the legs.   Due to the fragile nature of the table as well as its size, we will only ship via GREYHOUND for a cost of $85.00.  We will provide insurance for you.  Greyhound is, by far, the most gentle mode of transportation as they hand carry each package and do not place any freight on conveyor belts.  We will ship to the station nearest you and you will either need to pick up at the station OR, you can contact Greyhound to schedule a home delivery via their courier service.  This service is available in most areas and the fee is generally very affordable.  We can help you obtain quote for this service if you would like.  Transit times vary for Greyhound, depending on distance as well as available space on their buses, but generally the packages take 10-14 business days.  Paypal accepted.  Thank you.
