Antique 19th Century Renaissance Walnut Italian Cabinet for SaleAntique 19th Century Renaissance Walnut Italian Cabinet for Sale

For sale is this extremely detailed well made and well carved piece of Italian Walnut furniture in the renaissance manner dating from the end of the 19th century. Likely 1870-1880.

The piece stands at almost 11 feet tall.
Exact measurements:  (60'' 23.5'' D) 129'' H.

The carving is highly decorative and fantastic representation of the style. The detail is remarkable, with several flanking statues (2 angels, men) and phenomenally detailed carved scene in the center front. Several pieces of 3-dimensional fruit are featured, along with all of the subsections of the piece being framed in highly decorative carving detail.

The larger statue of the man on the right side has chipped toe, but the original piece has been kept and can very easily be reattached and will be shipped with the piece. This is detailed on one of the images. There are several other small areas of damage like this, but none are to be unexpected with something from the late 1800s. have about 50 photos in total and if you show interest in purchase am more than willing to send all of these.

The piece has initials carved on the key and the very top of the head-piece. They are bit hard to make out, as they are written in decorative manner. They are likely the initials of the person for whom the piece was commissioned.

The overall wear on the piece considering its age is extremely minimal. This sale is final. refund will only be issued if the item comes not as described, with significant changes from the description that affect the integrity of the piece.
