After our last visit to the one-of-a-kind "Gold Museum" (Museo del Oro) in Bogota, Colombia we continued our search with local artisans and actually found replica of the so called GoldFlyer up in the mountains of that South American country.

Like many others of similar shape that have been found, this "OOPART" (Out of Place Artifact) has been attributed to local native culture called Tolimas who lived there between 300 B.C. and 1550 A.D. and was believed to be the reproduction of an insect.

Some experts have said that even though their designs do not appear to have "power plant", these objects meet technical specs for modern military aircraft.  But this fact creates an uncomfortable situation for some archeologists who will rather try to make us believe that the Tolimas chose to depict "flying insects" with aerodynamic features such as the ones we have before our own eyes.

We now present you with the rare opportunity to own 24K golden plated reproduction pin of this strange and beautiful piece of history, made by artisans from the same area where the amazing Tolima culture flourished.

It measures 7/16" (44 mm) in length by 3/8" (35 mm) in width and weighs 10 grams! 

And no, these replicas are NOT made in China!  These pins are made from galvanized PEWTER, plated in 24k gold and lacquered to shine and protect, so as they age they will maintain their shine and appearance.

Our designs are the result of careful examination of the original pieces from several pictures, and numerous trials until their shape, size and details are as close to the originals as possible.  We are proud of offering quality products at very fair price.
