On offer is this wonderful Art Deco period sterling silver tea set comprising tea pot, creamer and double handle sugar bowl.  Each features horizontal ribbing band, cut away corners and square handles on the creamer and sugar.
All pieces are clearly hallmarked behind the handles:  JP over & Co for James Parkes & Co, Sterling, London, 1933/4 (s, t).  Interior of the lid of the teapot is also stamped with marker, sterling, date letter.Tea pot stands approx 15cm to top of finial, spans ~27.25cm handle to spout.  Weight of 674g.  Holds approx 1L/4 cups.Creamers stands 6.7cm to spout (8cm to top of handle).  Opening measures 12.5cm 7.75cm.
